Prayer Vocation Box

As you are aware there is a dire need for vocations, especially within the Diocese of Belleville. To pray for more vocations, we are introducing a Vocation’s Prayer Box within our parish.

How it works is that we are asking an individual or family to take the box home with them for one month and pray for vocations every day of that month. The next month we will present the box to another individual or family. This way, we have someone from our parish praying for vocations every day of the year. We have a signup sheet on the bulletin board in the back of church if you or your family is interested in praying for vocations for one month. We will present the box to that family or individual on the first Sunday of the month at the 9:30 mass along with a blessing from Father.

Inside the box we have a crucifix, some candles, a rosary, prayer cards to the patron Saints for vocations, and many other prayers for vocations. Feel free to use any of these resources or your own prayers.
